HOW TO BOOK WITH AMAZING HOLIDAYS IN INDIA

Once you have got in touch with us to share your ideas, we’ll then email you a hand-crafted itinerary which has been designed especially for you. Along with the itinerary, we’ll share a quote. This would be merely a starting point however, and we encourage you to ask for any number of tweaks and adjustments until we’ve created your ideal journey. Absolutely every aspect can be adjusted, from the accommodation to the sightseeing to the destinations and much more. We typically spend a month designing a tour with our guests and send approximately twenty emails to and fro, as well as spend time discussing the possibilities in detail over the telephone.

If the quote is higher or lower than you’d expected, please do not let that put you off. Accommodation contributes largely to the overall cost of our tours and we would be pleased to suggest alternates. There are so many wonderful places to stay in the region in a variety of styles and prices. The initial quote is really just a ball-park to get us going, and as we learn more about your tastes and preferences we can then make more targeted suggestions until it’s just right.

We have been told in the past by people that they can design the tour themselves for a lower cost. If you feel similar, please do take into account the quality of our service and our expert advises. If making the arrangements yourself, you’ll likely end up paying out unnecessary costs when you are here in India; in the end, it will cost much more than you initially thought. When travelling with Amazing Holidays In India, all of your sightseeing and entrance monument tickets are included in advance, along with your expert sightseeing guides, accommodation, breakfasts, transport and more. When comparing tours with other agencies, please do try to compare like for like; their tours may be lesser quality.

Once you are pleased with your tailor-made trip,, we’ll then guide you through the reservation process. To reserve your trip:

Firstly, we may require a copy of your passport photo page. This is needed for tours inclusive of internal flights, train tickets or safaris in a national park.

Secondly, we would be needing the information about the room i.e if you need Double Room on Twin sharing room, Smoking or Non Smoking room

Thirdly, we would request you to pay a deposit of 15% + Internal flights. We accept payments made by debit card, credit card or wire transfer. Please click on the link to process the payment via debit / credit or net banking. https://amazingholidaysinindia.com/payment/. 2nd payment of 50% of the trip, we would request you to pay 35 days prior to your arrival, and the final payment we request you to pay upon arrival in India. Please note in some cases specially in high-end hotels like Taj and Oberois and during festival time in India (Pushkar fair, Christmas and New Year period) the payment policy might be different, as these are peak period dates and hotels have difference payment policies.

After receiving your passport copies and deposit, we’ll then promptly email you a booking confirmation and payment receipt. We will send you the hotel confirmation status. In case if any of the proposed hotel/hotels are not available, then we will book a suitable alternate and advise you the possible reduction /supplement depending upon the difference of the alternate hotel confirmed.

After confirming your arrangements with us please do keep in touch. In the weeks leading up to your trip, you would naturally have questions and we’re always on hand to answer those.

A week before your arrival in India, we’ll then email you a soft copy of your tour documents and explain on meeting us at the airport. This would include your hotel vouchers, your itinerary, any e-tickets or train tickets and a small booklet with information you may find useful covering topics such as exchanging currency, and tipping norms. However, you needn’t worry about printing any of these documents out and carrying bulky papers with you, as we’ll provide a printed copy of everything you need in one of our gift-bags when you land. The reason we send a copy via email first is simply for your reference so you can familiarise yourself with the information.

Along with receiving your printed documents in Delhi, you’ll also be presented with a complimentary phone with a credit of Rs 100, which is yours for the duration of your stay with us. We’ll keep in touch regularly throughout your stay to check that all’s going well, and are only a quick phone call away should you have a problem or a question about your travel or anything. We are always there to answer your questions.

CANCELLATION REFUNDS.

We are sorry for your decision of cancelling your booked trip, however there could be some unavoidable circumstances and valid reasons that this could happen.

Cancellation fees are calculated upon receipt of the written cancellation and count from that date and are made up as follows:

1) 30 days before arrival date: No cancellation charges except the cancellation charges on the flights (as per airlines policy) or on any non-refundable services like jeep safaris into the National Parks in India.

2) 15 days before arrival date : 50% of the travel price will be retained

3) 14-7 days before arrival at the resort: 70% of the travel price will be retained

4) Less than 7 days before arrival or without giving notice: 100% of the travel price will be forfeited

After the trip has started, we are unable to refund any amount for unused services due to your willingness, early departure, late arrival, or missed days on tours. We will also not be liable for any additional cost incurred due to flight delays or cancellation, train delays or cancellation, fog, strikes etc.

ALTERATION OF ITINERARY

1. You are free to modify and make as many changes as you wish until you are full satisfied. However we have right to charge the supplement or offer reduction in the proposal if any incurred due to modification made in the plan.

2. In case of any flight / train delay and cancellation or any happening beyond our control, we reserve the right to find suitable solution and modify the itinerary with the minimum applicable cost and that will be bear by you.

COMPLAINTS AND CLAIMS

We try our level best to give quality services to our clients, however just by chance in case if you are not happy with any of the services, then please notify us immediately enable us to take quick action to rectify it to avoid the same problem happen again during the next stage of the trip. CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIME AT THE HOTELS

The standard check in/check out time at the hotel is 1200 hrs (noon). However in case of early check-in or late check-out, we can only request the hotel but the same will be subject to availability and cannot be guaranteed. For guaranteed early check-in or late check-out, it will be charged additional and we will negotiate whatever best could be negotiated from the hotel. Please note some high-end hotels like Oberois and Taj and other 5* hotels, they have standard check in time is 1500 hrs and check out time is 1200 hrs.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

You are required to ensure that all your travel documentation, passport and VISA are in order and valid for your travel.
